Life Boat

The Lifeboat

A participatory installation

Institute for Crazy Dancing

Cross Flatts Park, LS11 7BQ (Beeston Road end, by Watsonia Pavilion)
Thu 3 and Sat 5 April 2014, 11.00-17.00

Come aboard the Life Boat, relax in a hammock and look at the world from a slowly changing point of view: a place to reflect on the issues of the day – migration, ethical trade, sustainability, your life, our lives. Immerse yourself in a space which is both contemplative and active, a place for people to meet each other, to talk, to think. Life Boat is about slowness and conversation, reflection and getting ready for whatever comes next. Join the crew.
