Saturday 7th February 2015
10:30am – 1.15pm including buffet lunch
stage@leeds, University of Leeds
Scenographic City is a discussion about performance that invites its audiences to re-imagine familiar places using visual spectacle and/or technology. It will feature a panel of Leeds-based artists; Alan Lane (artistic director, Slung Low), David Shearing and Invisible Flock. Each of the artists will be talking about their work and the audience is invited to get involved in the discussion.
Amongst other things, we hope to be talking about performance and imagination, place and possibility, space and place, immersive and site-specific performance, the actual and the virtual, theatre and non-theatre settings, active spectators, co-creation and community…
This is a FREE EVENT (including lunch) and OPEN TO ALL, but you need to register your place as spaces are limited. BOOK YOUR PLACE
